Cuckoo to the heart

Our Story

Born from a deep love for the Aburrá Valley, Fauna Adventures began as a project to document the surprising biodiversity within Medellín's urban sprawl. What started as weekend birding trips evolved into an expert-led mission to reconnect residents and visitors with the wild neighbors living just outside their windows.

The Mission

We aim to foster a culture of conservation through immersive wildlife experiences. By highlighting the species that thrive in urban environments, we strive to inspire a protective bond between the city and its natural ecosystems.

Preserving Colombia's Natural Legacy

At Fauna Adventures, our mission is to redefine urban life by highlighting the incredible biodiversity of the Antioquean region. We believe that by connecting people with the wildlife, we foster a deep-rooted passion for local conservation and ecological awareness.

Ethical Exploration

We prioritize the well-being of the species we observe, following strict non-intrusive protocols.

Shifting Perceptions

We commit to represent Colombia as one of the most biodiverse countries in the world.
